The rocks were warm but uneven and at first I found it hard to relax on my stomach, staring down past waving wafers of green and amber. But soon my eyes adjusted to the myriad little lifeforms scuttling about down there, the pale pink anemones flexing their lethal fingers...and then I was away, drifting into a world of water and fire, rock and sky, clouds and living creatures. I must have been lying there quite some time because when I came back to what we like to call reality, my limbs were stiff, my hair was soaking - and I had a painting firmly lodged in my brain! It was finally born onto canvas: 'Evolving Lens'!
